First off, yes I know I'm going to get shit load of hate for this. I don't care.

Anyway... does anyone know the band Eisley? Paramore has had a pretty complicated relationship with them. I know Zac was friends with the singer Stacy and the two bands have met a few times.

At the time Sherri (singer and guitarist) was married to Chad and Hayley was dating Josh. At some point late in '07 everything became really sticky. (I'm pretty sure we all know the deal.) So this made Hayley and Josh's relationship go downhill influencing  many of the songs on BNE, including Playing God. In the video Hayley looks at old pictures of the band hanging out and such, obviously reminiscing her and Josh's old relationship. The whole reason I bring this topic up is because Eisley's new album "The Valley" recently came out and their latest single is "Smarter" in which Sherri reflects bitterly on ex-husband Chad.

At about a minute in Stacy (in the black dress singing backup) starts looking at pictures--pictures of what seem to be Sherri and Max Bemis' wedding. Hmmmm... does that seem familiar? When I saw that today I immediately thought of Playing God, which then led me to realize the strikingly similar themes in the two songs.

I was just thinking that maybe Sherri or whoever had creative input in the video purposely added the photos in just to create the connection. I realize it could be a coincidence because that idea is not particularly original, but it seems likely to me.

Now I'm ready for the hate if anyone even gives a shit about this. I know this whole ordeal happened years ago and we should probably just forget it, but it all seems so relevant to the bands still. After all Chad, Hayley, and Eisley are continuing to write songs about the mess.
