Personally, I adore it. It was done in such a good way. I love the way it's so dark and then contrasted with a happy kind of scene. It's strange but wonderful at the same time :D

I love it completely. I find humor in it because Hayley is capturing the guys and it kinda sounds like something i would do :)
The video is for sure my favorite Paramore video!! I replayed it about 100 times the first day it came out, trying to soak up all of its awesomeness. Paramore is my life.
But just as a side note, I saw alot of people debating whether or not they were channeling their inner "GaGa" in the video hahahaha. But yeah, I read an interview of Hayley a couple of weeks after the video came out (I don't remember the interview, sorry) but yeah she actually said that they had aspects of Lady Gaga with the glasses, and that the big plastic sheet thingy thats hanging in the basement was an aspect of the TV show Dexter, which is like Hayleys all time favorite show. She said they wanted fans to have alot to figure out in this video. But anyway, just wanted to point that out...

I love the dark side of this video. It is nothing near what I expected I think that is why I love it so much...... Now I need to go buy the video on iTunes so I can still say that I have all of their videos on my iTouch.....

I loved this video. I think that this video is sorta like the whole world of humanity. Every person, at one point wants another to see something different of the real person. no person can master perfection of showing their true beauty. Hayley in this video is one certain type though... a celebrity/ sports figure. People of Hollywood and such hide their trueself behind plastic sugeries, beautiful expensive clothings, and accessories,act one way in front of cameras and microphone, but off camera do things such as drugs, alchohol, and cheating on their spouses. the people sitting and having tea represent those who look up to this celebrity, those who see the beautiful side instead of the dark one. The four men in the basement represent the four addictions: drugs, alcohol, plastic surgeries, and prostitution/cheating on the spouse. Hayley tried to hide them, blames them for her misery, but truelly knows it is her and her alone fault for what she becomes. The pictures are her memories before she twisted herself into her image. I know this is a weird probably stupid way to interpret the video, especially since the men are in the pictures, that is part in which i have no explanation, but that is my opinion.
I saw the video on video Hits yesterday and it looks even better on a big screen. :) I personally loved it. I think it reflects the song really well and I love how it has a serious meaning but at the same time you can't help but crack up at the idea of Hayley holding the guys hostage in her basement. I thought the old pictures of the band really strengthened the meaning behind the song. It was kind of strange but it was done well and highlighted the individual flair of the band.

I do not need to open my mind at all. When I first saw that bit I instantly thought "Oh great, some fool's going to compare her to Gaga now" and oh look, they did.

I'm betting at that exact moment in time when the photo was taken that they all had a very good band relationship going on and it was all easy which is a reflection of what's going on in the Playing God video. It doesn't mean at all that she's thinking "Wow, we were so so so in love" and no, you can't see that. It's a photograph of Josh in a green tshirt when he was a few years younger. You can't see love or know of their relationship from that. Stop talking out of your arse.

Nah, No Doubt and Gaga are REALLY too different to be compared.
Gaga is more a madonna wannabe but she actually makes it her own and developes it than anything else.
Paramore aren't copying Gaga, if anyone copied, Gaga copied No Doubt.

Everyone's all like "omg, their relationship was amazing. They were so perfect together" when they know absolutely fuck all about it their relationship. THAT annoys me more than people saying "omg, josh and hayley should date!" because fact is, they dated for 3 years and no one knew. There's 1 photo of them sharing a kiss and that's it. You can't have an opinion on what they were like or how "beautiful" it was because the only view you had on the WHOLE relationship was what your warped little mind invented.

Wasn't a whole reference to GaGa, only a few scenes, like the glasses and the poison. Oh, please, don't say that it doesn't have anything to GaGa cause it does, Hayley's her fan, and it fixed at the video, so there it is. It's my opinion.
And the relationship between Josh and Hayley was beautiful, it's over, I just said that the bridge made me remind it.
