I've had quite a few "haters" recently. All of them throwing various accusations/remarks at me about me. Happily using the word "Hate" against me as if they know what they are going on about.
For starters I'm just gonna say this. You don't know me. You know absolutely nothing about me. You don't know what time I get up, you don't know where I work, you don't know what colour my hair is right now and you don't know if I have siblings. These are all basic things that people, aquaintances, friends etc know about each other. For instance, I know Hayley Williams has sisters. I know she's in a band called Paramore and I know her hair is most likely going to be some form of red or orange right now. I can say what I think of her as a person from what I've seen but I can't do much beyond that, so I take the rest as it comes. I don't judge her because I don't know her.
Now when it comes to "bad" people on the internet. People who speak their minds and don't care whether the person they're speaking to has a particular dislike for "rudeness" or swear words or anything else. People like me basically.
I just had some moron (sorry, but it was a very stupid remark to make) say that thousands of people hate me. Thousands. Hate me. Do you know 1,000 people? If you do, do you know them enough to suggest them all feeling one exact emotion towards you? What ignorance is this?
I'm sorry, but you're all fucking bullshitting me. You like Paramore, you LOVE paramore. Else you wouldn't be here, right? I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that you've heard the song Ignorance. WHY DO YOU LISTEN TO IT, UNDERSTAND THE MEANING AND THEM COME OUT WITH SUCH IGNORANT COMMENTS?!
I've had quite a few people say to me about how they think that Paramore would hate me as a person because I can be so rude or whatever. Personally? I do exactly what they'd prefer. Honesty. Acceptance and no judgement. I do not judge. Period.
I expect the same thing in return.
Why do you think people like me? I have a hell of a lot of friends, people I really believe love me for who I am and what I say and I have them say it when I help them with shit. I'm there for them and I'm bloody loyal. Why would they like me if I'm such a bastard? I'm not, exactly.
Think about that next time you pick a personal argument with someone, it's getting boring repeating myself.
I can let things go. I am so laid back that I don't care. Yet finding these people online who hold grudges against me to try and ralley other people to join their hate group? Anyway, I've come across a fair few repeat topics where @midnightfelicis97 has had to step in and seriously, some people are just idiots. You could explain to them a hundred times... no, more, and they'd still refuse to delete the topic. I mean seriously, people show a total disregard for the rules and considering that it's completely up to the poor mods to sift through everything if they don't see sense and delete it. Like they probably haven't got enough to do. So try to see it from his point of view.

Actually, what I've been doign has been helping the site. I've gotten members to delete topics, realise that repeats are a pile of shit and made a few people laugh. I don't care if I wasn't "nice" about it or whatever, I really don't. The ones that happily delete their topics when requested as the ones I like, the ones that don't because of their own arrogance? Nope.
I'm losing the will to live with this site if I'm honest. Many people are. I'm eventually going to leave it and believe me when I say it won't be quiet.

Rationality doesn't work. I've tried explaining to people, intelligent sounding people too. Know what I get back? "Well, if the moderators want to delete it that's fine but I don't think it's a repeat topic so I'll keep it until then".

Again, I can understand that there are nicer ways to go about people but at the same time I'm not going to excuse them for their own ignorance and their own self righteousness. There are many many measures set up by myself and others to avoid repeat topics. Sandy and Rach spent ages on the FAQ, fought to get it stickied, fought to get it onto the create a discussion page. Still ignored. And these are things that are literally answered on it as well. So yeah, I can understand that I could be nicer but if they can ignore all the effort various people put in then as far as I'm concerned they can feel as picked on as they like.

I couldn't change anything on this site. 60% of the users are ignorant fuckers (check my emo topic, everything I said gets ignored. No, the thing is that you are simply NOT understanding is that I don't mean it as an insult. Sure, it may be percieved as one or whatever but it's intention is far from it.
If one of your friends say to you "I need to stop eating or I'll turn into a hippo" and you say "Turn into...?". That is the EXACT same thing as what I'm doing. I'm sorry but if everyone is so happy to break rules 2 3 4 5 then why can't I break rule number 1? And it's not just the rules that matter directly. Thing is that I treat everyone the same. Even my friends and family. It isn't a bad thing because the things I'm saying aren't bad. I just genuinely cannot be bothered sugarcoating things for the sensitive people on the internet. You're always going to annoy someone whatever you do and the best way to go about that is to not give a fuck. It's excusable in many many ways. Many ways that cannot really be explained.
At the end of the day. I couldn't really give much of a fuck if the people are upset on this site. If I feel the need to be so blunt with them then chances are they've done something to severely piss me off or really break the rules.
I hate Paramore fans in general. I really do and it's this site that's done that for me. Not blaming people for how they are, just disliking the way things have gone.

I got given the Don't Be Ignorant wrist band christmas before last and every time I see it I literally think about this point. Well, not every time. sometimes I think "how the fuck did that fall off again?!" but y'know.
I don't really post much on Paramore.net, but I've seen sooo many fights break out over stupid things and it turns nasty pretty quick. I think @MIDNIGHTFELICIS97 makes a pretty good point - we don't know what anybody's life is really like, and we all judge way too quickly. (I know I do it all the time) I think if we all shared our opinions a bit better and nicer we'd have no problems whatsoever. And just remember - It's ok for someone not to agree with you, and for you not to agree with them.
