Above is the celebartion dinner wrapping the March recording sessions that Paramore completed with legendary producer Rob Cavallo.

As you know, Monster from those sessions has been released, was part of T3, and was a big hit on the Van's Warped Tour.

And, now, Renegade is coming: Paramore performed it live for the first time at the Fueled by Ramen 15th anniversary, as shown in this video.  And, of course, the band had teased fans a bit with the beginning bars to the song "Renegade" at the beginning of those PNN reports on this site. You can read about more about Renegade in Brand New Eyes' post about the new songs, which is devoted more specifically to Renegade. 

As Hayley explains in a recent post:

"Back in March, we recorded a handful of songs (including "Monster") with Rob Cavallo which we promised we'd get to you this year. "Renegade" is the first song of the three that are left to be released."

If you believe the buzz, "Renegade" may be out soon.

What do you think of the few seconds you've heard so far?

Here is where we left things back in March:

1. Paramore had wrapped it up in the studio for now. See the "family celebration" dinner above, at Rob Cavallo's house.

2. Hayley tweeted Wednesday: Last time I'll be in the vocal booth til it's time to make a real full length @paramore album. But these songs should ti[d]e you over til then!

3. We know we got at least 4 songs from the effort: Hayley: "We're actually working on a 4th song now! What?!"

4. Also, Hayley came on the PFC Chat and revealed some lyric snippets of the existing songs (thanks, Anthony).

6. Jeremy posted an enticing music sample of the new music on his Tumblr this week.  Wow!!

7. **Yes, Taylor has been playing the drums(!) A lot. And, well, he's really good.  Who knew?

8. Also, Hayley posted an update on the livejournal explaining the band probably wouldn't release the new material all together on an EP, but will be making the music available to us fans in one way or another. (Thanks for finding, @Paramuse, @MuHaHaHa!)

9. Yes, it was quite a surprise. The fun all started when Hayley tweeted Sunday night, March 20, 2011:

Oh!! Just got a call from @itstayloryall --- he & @schzimmydeanie just touched down in LA!! We're recording a couple new songs this week!

Then, Monday:

Headed to the studio. Can't believe I just said that... Lemme say it again. Headed to the studio!!!

Then:

So crazy being back at Rob Cavallo's studio 2 years later... Hope I don't run over the neighbors' mailbox again.

Another Hayley tweet from Monday night:

Headed back home to get some sleep. 1st day at the studio was faaaantastic! Gonna wake up tomorrow and do it all over again :)

And, finally, two weeks later from Hayley, this very unconvincing denial on the new music:

No, I am not listening to new P-more songs... Again...in my room by myself! Why would you even think that?

Paramore:  'Definitely' a New Release in 2011

James Montgomery of MTV writes that "fans are going to be hearing new material from [Paramore] a lot sooner than they probably realize." It's in this separate article posted a few hours after the debut of the "Paramore: The Last Word" interview:

His article summary includes several quotes from the long video interview, and I think it's worthy of separate note since it's definitive news. 

And I love Taylor's quote:

"We're more excited than ever. And we're not going to put out something that's not good. Next year, when we say we're taking time off, it means we're writing until we have something that's great. And we're not going to stop until it's great."
