This morning, i text my girlfiend "Mornin! May i walk you to class on this fine morning". She responds "Um actually, can we talk somewhere in private?"
She told me she has a fucked up family, she told me she wasn't able to put up with a boyfriend now. We remain the same, but only as friends. I don't get to skip classes to see her anymore, i dont get to talk to her like i used to anymore, I don't get to walk her to her classes anymore, i don't get to kiss her anymore. Which was basically what got me through the day.
She is a victim of depression. Months ago she was on a suicide watch at a mental hospital.
One of the last things i said to her before it ended was, "Roll up your sleaves".
Time to write a song...

I feel your pain I was with a girl for 3 years and then she just left me cause of a damn rumor that I cheated on her! We didn't talk for at least a year after the break up, it was too hard for both of us. During the year we weren't talking I left and moved to New york cause I got my deal with RCA. I do got to say though that I wrote some amazing songs from that break up. Through writing all those songs I was able to get over my heartache. "Pain like love is just a 4 letter word"
oh im sorry. but theres nothing you can do. what i do when i go through this is. cry, hate them for like a month .. not talk to them for a while, and eventually become friends again. works quite well ha. like a couple months ago i couldnt stand to look at my ex, now i sit next to him in english :P. you realise that you really do have a lot in common it just wasnt meant to be.
obviously your not in the same situation as me.. so my advice would be take you time to get over her and stay friends. she really needs a friend
you'll learn in life that some people aren't for you. you will get someone later sometime, you dont know when, it will strike faster than lightning. assuming you dont really believe me and it is hard to understand... it will happen to you and you will come back and tell me that im a genious (when im really not lol not a bragger and never will be, its just what you will feel like) you will be twice as happier than you were with this girl

You have to understand her. She's going through a really dark moment of her life. She's not up to stand a boyfriend now and if you're still friends the best thing you can do now is giving her your shoulder to cry when she wants to and be her holder. By that way she'll realize how much you care about her even as friends.
