I dont wanna do it but i feel like im being forced into it. In 2 weeks im going to a Paramore concert with some friends. They say in order to get a good spot we cant go to school on the day or we should leave at lunch. I havnt asked my parents yet but i think they'll say no. The thing is if i dont leave early with them, i wont get a ride there! I have the tickets though so should i use that against them? You can see my dilemma any help?

thanks for all the help guys. my friends say we dont have to do it if i dont want to cause their not allowed either so were just going straight from school. other good news my paramore tshirt just came! yay! for lack of better expression, in the words of paramore "things are looking up" ha.

just tell your parentss. i'm sure they wouldn't react too badly... they'd find out if you didn't go to school anyway.
I regret not leaving early from school to get a good spot at a Paramore concert because then I didn't have a good view. You should leave early from school. Maybe tell your parents.

Make a compromise. If you're not allowed to skip school, tell your friends to save you a place and ask your parents to drop you off. If they say no, then you can tell them that the only options are to get a lift with your friends and skip school or for them to drop you off.
That way, everyone wins and you outsmart your parents :P
if I were in that situation i'd tell my mom and not go to school that day...but if you can't do that ...well then you have to do what you have to do!
Who cares what the other people think, if your friends save you a place then it doesnt matter. It's what we did when we went to go see FOB and nobody realy cared.

i asked and im not allowed. im allowed to go straight from school though. my school has a dogging porgramme though. if you skip then you have to get a slip signed every period to make sure you dont do it again. i'll try to convince my friends to go after school
I'm skipping college but the rest of my friend's are going. Can't your parents like give you a lift there after school and your friends like save you a place in the line, like what i'm doing for my friend's? If not then just skip it, missing 1 day wnt hurt that much.

i would skip an entire week of school and much more if that would make paramore come to my country...just be really winey and tell them it;s really important to you and paramore is your entire life and you will get all the home work and whatever you learnt that day from someone else
