The Swellers' drummer, Jonathan Diener, wrote a post on his tumblr blog where he speaks about the current situation with Paramore. In case you don't know who The Swellers are, they are a FBR-signed band, and they went on tour with Paramore last year on the "brand new eyes" tour as an opening act.

Personally, I think he's so right, and I agree with everything he says. It's a perspective coming from someone who's outside of the band.
[If needed, this post will be deleted soon]
Here is a permalink to this article, which has now tumbled down several pages due to Jonathan's prolific posting. Really worth a read if you want some perspective from the inside:

I won't argue, gotta agree with Jonathan. :) And the last line cheered me up. That made my day. :)
this made my day ! thanks for posting this .
"Just make sure you take a breather and think before you decide on turning your back on something you loved for so long"
thanks for posting this .exactly what was needed to hear . i couldnt agree more with what he said especially about the part where he said the personal + business was keep secret for the simple reason of not to scare the fans into thinking something was wrong. it makes me appreciate how strong josh + zac were to stay in the band for the fans even though they were extremely unhappy for a while .its sad and unfortunate that the internal stuff became to much for them to deal with .in closing hope them leaving does make them happy and i wish them the best of luck.as for hayley taylor + jeremy im happy they are still keeping the band going and i look forward to hearing the future music they put out .
it's true...
love the laste line
"Just make sure you take a breather and think before you decide on turning your back on something you loved for so long"
thank you so much for this!
i've actually decided. and what he says about hayley, jeremy and taylor being normal, kind people has made me happier.
because i was thinking if the way the band formed was a lie then maybe the way the people in the band are is a lie.
but from this and many other videos and interviews i've gathered that they are still the same.
just because they may have been manufactured and hayley may have been pushed to be at the front, doesn't make her or any of the others less of a person.
josh obviously loved hayley at one point, we all know this. zac loved her at one point as a sister. and jeremy and taylor still love her as part of their family.
she can't be a camera hogging bitch if she has so many friends.
because if she was she'd have as many friends as axl rose.
aka none :}
agree with exactly what he said, thanks for posting
thanks for posting!! that's what i wanted to hear. :)
Totally agree
thanks for posting this!!
He's hit the nail right on the head. This is what I needed to read.
i love him for making sense out of all this. :)
THANK YOU! for posting this... :D this made me feel much better! :))
he's soooo right.
Thank you for posting this! MAde me feel a bit better about the whole thing.
im glad i read that. it kinda helped
thank you, this made me fell a bit better about the whole thing :)
He's right.
this seemed to clear things up.. sort of.
Thanks for posting this!
This guy has a way with words that makes more sense every minute I keep reading. He actually makes this situation sound emotional, both sides separating in as best they can. I never saw Zac and Josh as media addicts, and still loved them just as much. Times are tough, but by giving everyone a little space they are sure to sort everything out and begin the new Paramore. Thanks Jonathan Diener for those words - it has made things just that little bit clearer...
=)
He's so right
I will completely agree with Jonathan here. None of us know the band members personally ourselves, but because Paramore members want nothing more than to make their fans happy, they share their personal information with us. Paramore is a band and will always be a band. Whoever they bring in I'm pretty sure will only amaze us even more. Everyone is still growing up and learning from their mistakes. No one is perfect.
It is precisely because of his wise words that I want everyone to read this. Everyone should.
This is what I'd like to call a more "ideal" post, for me at least. If that makes any sense... He explains that the fans don't need to know every little thing. That's what I've been saying for hours now. He couldn't have said it any better. It's great to see another point of view, from a person who has spent time with the members.
Thank you for posting this! It helps, really. :)
I don't know many songs from them, but I totally like "Fire Away"; and the video is nice too.
I totally agree with him. Couldn't say it any better. Ah, The Swellers are amazing btw.
I think it's inspiring how this band has had 6 lineup changes, and they're still going and going. That's just great.
Now that's a blog I can get behind!
