i was on tumblr.com the other day, & i seen a post that was about taylor swift's song 'speak now'. incase you haven't heard it, it's about a girl who's about to watch her ex get married to another girl, but then the preacher says 'speak now'.
but the story was like taylor was talking, describing the whole day of joshes wedding & hayley being really upset and crying. i don't know if someone just made it up or? i'm confused. taylor has a history of writing songs about real situations with her family, friends & ex boyfriends, so i'm not sure whether or not the story is true.
what do you guys think? i mean if i was her i'd probably be upset. but then again they've been broken up for a while now & they're BOTH in new relationships. but idk... :/
It's a pretty cliche situation. Like Eevie said, she knows a crapload of people and it could really be anybody. I doubt Hayley would say anything like that about Jenna. Hayley and Josh love each other, yes, but like a brother and sister would love one another.
It's like Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson (They play Harry Potter and Hermione Granger) they're best friends, they've been together for years like Hayley and Josh had. Dan and Emma have great chemistry on camera like Hayley and Josh have on stage. But they are no more than friends.

idk. i mean they said they only broke up cuz they didnt want the band to b all about them being together and all that. so, for the band, they move on and date other people. Could it not b possible that when they each started trying to move on and date other people that they still had feelings for each other but didnt wanna risk anything by telling the other? maybe Hayley still does have feelings for him and is only with someone else "for the band". maybe if they really had the choice do u think they wouldve ever broken up at all?

I really like Taylor and when I heard about this story for Speak Now (ps: love this song ^^) I believed it, I don't know but I think that if you felt something strong for a person once, these old feelings can come back. maybe that's what happened with Hayley. I mean, she and Taylor are pretty friends, so...

No this probably is'nt True as someone said it was from Fanfiction.net which I'm not on but I'm familiar with because my friend goes on it But its just a website for people who love to write stories , So its just a Story , Nothing Else. I do agree that it is sad though I mean it would be sad if the writer made up two completely different characters to Josh and Hayley and still kept the story Line. So don't get too Hot Headed guys. Just because she said it made her cry Does not mean anything. It's a sad story line.

yeah that's what i thought b/c that was like a BOOK lol it was so long & i don't think taylor would put hayley all out there like that. but i kind of think she cried though, who wouldn't? i cried myself when i found out he was getting married, it breaks my heart still.

@ matt, yeah i agree. it does fit perfectly, that whole little thing. she could've meant it for hayley, herself & whoever else has been in a situation like that. alot of people go through that & it's a really tough situation. but most of her songs she said she writes that has happened to her or her family & friends. so who knows, i'll always wonder lol.
That song could relate to anyone. I can imagine it came from the idea of Hayley and Josh for Taylor but it's probably just down to her own take on it, what if it happened to her?

I don't think it's about Hayley and Josh, cause Taylor mentioned the song's about her friend who dated some guy in high school and they were gonna get back together soon, but then he walked off and got married to someone else..that's not what happened to Joshayley.
