Okay, I chose Turn it Off as a song to anlaize for religion class. (It's more theology but it's officialy called religion on the sylabus) Anyways, I've just finished my analizing of it and I'm just wondering what other people's meaning for it is ...

I think it's about someone questioning themselves and the point of their lives. Maybe something has happened in their life or something.  Questions are being asked and every time answers are found, a barrier appears to progression.I think they could be also questioning their faith. They see bad in the world and wonder what is the point of anything. I could be completly wrong but sure what the hell. Thats what music is about anyway; gettting your own meaning from songs.

    So yeah ... :D

Personally, I think it is about those that have always known God and doesn't have one of those "being saved" stories. For example, I have always known God as my Savior and have never been involved with drugs, alchohol or sex. I didn't go through those really rough times in my life, and then found God and changed completely; I have always known. However, for those of us like that, sometimes you wish you DID go through something like so that you have that story to tell.

Also, sometimes it takes something really bad to happen to you before you realize the truth and you realize how lucky you really are.

SecretLove has got what i thought, but then i couldnt stop thinking, hayley is very optimistic i dont think she would write about suicide. Unless she was relating to her friend that did once

To me its about how you lose sight of what is most important in your life... About how youre working to a goal thats "non existent" and that before you know it youre headed in the wrong direction and before you can stop it you fall and "in the freefall" you realize that when you get to the bottom the only place you can go is up..... But maybe thats just me :) Anyways hope you can understand that

Every one interprets thing differently, my interpretation is:

Some one that has found one of life's REALLY hard parts and they're finding it impossible to get out. The chorus makes me think that they haven't gotten to the worst part yet and they know that so they've stopped fighting it.

Hope that's understandable. =]
