Ok guys what the hell does it matter who did or didnt find Paramore through the Twilight soundtrack Like honest to C***** the amount of discussions on here about Who knew Paramore before Twilight or how they're not real fans is just....ugh beyond belief! Anyone who honestly in their heart of hearts believes that those who found them through it is not as much of a fan as some1 who didnt is just wrong totally wrong and I (and many others) would have that argument with them until they see how they are wrong!
They is so many out there who have undoubtably thought "Oh thats an album by that band from Twilight..think ill buy it to check em out..." or "Oh hey that band playing here in a few months have that really good song from Twilight, think ill get two tickets and drag _____ along with me" or even "yeah Twilight sucked, I only bought the soundtrack because of the Paramore songs on it" There's probably been hundreds, thousands even of these thoughts all over the world, and all they are is good for Paramore, more exposure more sales more fans more lovers of good music, and more money for the band members, you know??
I wonder if there's as many of these ridiculous discussions on any Muse fansites, who by the way have been on all three Twilight Saga soundtracks, whereas Paramore have been on just the one, does anyone know??
These topics are just creating pointless divisions in the community we have here, and to what end?? So as unlikely as this is,Webcrew delete all of these topics PLEASE!!!
Lol i wrote this in a fit of an annoyance so if it's a repeat topic or of im making this out to be worse then it is, please let me know and I will delete it straight away....but can't we all just get along regardless of how we discovered the amazing band that is Paramore?!

I agree with what you said, but I don't think the problem is bullying fans who FOUND Paramore through Twilight. The problem is the fans who say they are fans when they're not.
I don't mind that people discovered Paramore through Twilight... but ''discover'' is the key word. It means you find the band, like their music, look up the rest of their stuff and listen to it and become a proper fan. If you say you ''discovered'' Paramore through listening to the 2 songs with no knowledge whatsoever of the band or their other music, then I'm sorry but that doesn't make you much of a fan. Or if you say you're a fan just because it's 'cool' because they're a band associated with Twilight. Nuh-uh. If I like a song or two by some band, I don't pretend that I'm a big fan because I know I'm not.
(btw, I'm part of Muse forums and the Muse crowd is normally more mature than Paramore's, so there is no ridicule for Twilight fans. However because the Muse crowd is more mature, hardly any of them are Twilight fans anyway so it's more or less ignored. And as even the band themselves consider it selling your soul to be involved with something like Twilight, most people on the forums aren't idiotic enough to try and cause ruptures over it.)
If you have discovered the magic of Paramore through Twilight, MTV or however the fuck you found it, enjoy and dont be stupid enough to argue and judge people who found it diffrently then you did.
We all love Paramore or else we wouldnt be here. We need to excpet or diffrences, if any, and move on.
Twilight did a hella lot for Paramore and as fans we need to be thankful for it. Without all of that exposure Paramore would still be a bit of a nobody band. They wouldnt be headlining the Honda Civic Tour, they wouldnt be on the cover of Spin mag, they wouldnt have merch at Hot Topic and all this cool shit that they do have which is thanks to the fame they got from doing a song for Twilight.
We'd have only about a third of all the fans we have today, this site would be emptier an not as fun.
Its rather sad how some fans feel the need to bully others in order to feel better about themselves. We're all fans and however you found this band doesnt matter and should not matter to anybody. End of.

It doesn't matter where or when you found the band, you found them. I got to know them after misery business, and unlike some who have loved them since AWKIF I signed up for the PFC and won a M&G. I'm not saying that makes me better, I'm just saying that if we were to judge people on their love of the band that I'd win XD

I agree. fans are fans, no matter how they came about being one. I think what made so many people annoyed was they couldn't tell if someone liked Paramore for their music or because it reminded them of Edward. and now paramore are very mainstream, but i think they deserve it, twilights given them a spotlight :) real fans should be happy for them whatever happens!
You said it all for me. I discovered paramore through twilight, because before twilight they weren't very well known in our country. Twilight made them famous internationally, no one can deny that.
I have known paramore before twilight, but i dont care that Paramore has gotten more fans just because of twilight. I mean people wont just be like "oh paramore is my favourite band now just because i know one of their songs that was on twilight" they will most likely say they like the song then listen to other songs of theirs and then become a big fan. The only thing that i do NOT like about twilight thing is when paramore is always related to twilight. that bugs me.
