country music is like my musical roots, its what i grew up with. though i am not to fond of the new country i love the early 2000's and late 90's :) its what i grew up listening and what brought me to love music the way i do. so really if not for country music i would not like paramore cause i never would have had my appreciation for music in the first place :D
@Luci @EvWsox Good songs. @Luci yours is really beautiful and @EvWsox yours has a classic country rhythm and of course any song that mentions Momma and Apple Pie in the same verse is a keeper.
I like it but yeah there is some good and bad but yeah I listen to some country. Carrie Underwood is my favorite but I also listen to others like Brad Paisley, Billy Currington, and a few others that I can't think of right now lol
I like some Taylor Swift songs. I like a couple of country songs, like Loretta Lynn's You Ain't Woman Enough (admittedly I only heard this because Paramore covered it).
The 'country' twang kind of grates on me though, so I don't particularly listen to it.
i like it..,, there`s a lot of different music in the world and i love to listening there music my life is full of music, music is my life that`s why im still searching i lates music in the other country
i like taylor swift, but the real deal country music irritates the crap out of me :P I had torture watching the CMT awards but because paramore was there it was worth it :/
Yeah, I like it. Especially Johnny Cash, aswell as some new stuff like Miranda Lambert, Taylor Swift and The Band Perry, although it's a shame that most of the mainstream country nowadays is getting in a different, more pop direction.
love Tatlor Swift ?
@martinhardee love those songs, classic country :)

I wonder if any of the Loretta Lynn fans on here have seen the movie, Coal Miner's Daughter?
I don't really listen to it. I like Carrie Underwood (I have all her albums) and some songs by Taylor Swift though. And Loretta Lynn too.
Does Home by Edward Sharp And The Magnetic Zeros (sp?) count as a country song?

It's not my favorite genre. I used to like it.
I like it :)
But then again, I listen to just about every genre.
