First of all they are deffinitly not pop-punk, pop-punk is fast skate type music NOFX is an example of a pop-punk band. Emo isn't a genre it is a stereotype for certain people and music so they aren't that. Then name "Alternative" brings sludgy like guitar riffs and slow drum bearts to mind. For example Alice in Chains is an alternative rock band. Certain songs and the way they sometimes look seems punk rock but other then that I don't know what to call it. I'll leave it as "undetermined" for a while. :)
