I'm just going to say what I've wanted to say about many issues for a long time so bare with me :)
In the first 19 months of Obama, the federal debt held by the public increased by $2.5260 trillion, which is more than the cumulative total of the national debt held by the public that was amassed by all presidents from George Washington through Ronald Reagan
Now don't get me wrong, I am by no means a "Bush lover". He did some really dumb stuff that I don't agree with and yes he did leave Obama a huge mess. But Barack Obama ran on the promise that he could FIX it. and yet all he's done is keep spending like there is no tomorrow and ignoring the wishes of the American people (the polls will show that)
Obama has shown nothing but incompetence in his whole time as president. Just with things like golfing and going on vacations during the biggest crises in his career. such as the BP oil spill or the unrest in the middle east. Yes i know he was elected president and i have nothing personal against this man, in fact I like him, he seems to be a really nice guy. I know that the president and I are going to disagree on pretty much everything but all i really want from him is to 1) listen to the American people 2) be a strong leader that we can get behind. and whether you like Bush or not you have to admit he was a very strong leader.
I would just like to compare the treatment of Bush and Obama just to prove the double standard in the country. There were rallies of people waving signs that said "kill Bush" or worse. and if one word is said against Obama the person is branded a "racist" or horribly torn down and and called horrible things. personally I don't give a crap that he's black. Didn't care when he was running and I don't care now. The real racism is actually looking at him and taking into account that "hey! he's black!". I prefer to judge this president on the content of his character and NOT the color of his skin. But hey I'm just the crazy racist Bush lover right?
I agree with hidden star,there is no point complaining about something we have no hope in changing.But if we have look past all the bad stuff and maybe you might get a glimspe of the good stuff in life like hanging out with your friends,hearing your baby sister laugh or the peace when the day breaks.Thats the stuff we should look at not the other stuff. And i know sometimes we forget that(well i know i do) but always remamber there is always a light at the end of the tunnel.Pramore songs also help me through everything but thats not important:D:D
without the bad stuff we cant appreciate the good stuff as much. and although we'd love for the world to be a happy place, thats just how it has to be. instead of complaining though, i think it would be more productive to try to make it a better place?
