I like death metal and bands like Owl City. It's perfectly fine for people to have diverse taste in music. Just because you listen to a certain genre doesn't mean you can't like another
i never used to like rock until i heard of paramore i usually used to listen to pop or hip hop or soul but i do like pop music but the i dont get is that most young pop singers sing about love like the justin bieber or cody simpson i wonder why cant they sing about things that have nothing to do with love. im not saying this in a bad way

Not really. They may not improve it or do anything particularly new or original, but they aren't exactly slaughtering music just because all they do is sing and dance to pop tracks. And that's coming from someone who dislikes JLS.
Pop isn't m favorite genre of music but its not to the extant that i hate it. Every body id different and everybody is there own person so it shouldn't matter what kind of music another paramore fan likes.

I listen to Bring Me the Horizon, Blessthefall, Enter Shikari etc, but my current obsession is Pixie Lott. I'm an openminded person and I don't like limiting myself to one genre of music.

I dont think people can really help what type of music they like, it depends on individual taste etc ... i mean i like Pink and Lady Gaga ... but then i listen to old punk like black flag, the clash and dead kennedy's .. i dont think that it is really something that can be explained. Music is subjective, people are just ignorant to think otherwise.

People like different things, kind of music. We souldn't balme them. It's not a sin or something like that. If they like Paramore and pop music, that;s fine. I don't but I also don't care. If they're happy with it, it's OK. Personally, I hate pop music but I accept that my frioends do enjoy listening to it.
