I really missed Paramore on yhis soundrack :T but I know that they don't want to be a part of Twilight anymore, so :(
and Muse said it too. They're tired from Twilight Õ.o just dunno why
my fave bands really should be in all the Twilight soundtracks, but nothing is as we want :>
I read the books way before Twilight became a movie, and Hayley did too which inspired her to get the band involved with the soundtrack... my point is that for people who liked Twilight before the popularity boom, it's easy to see what a monster the Twilight franchise has become. That probably discouraged the band from wanting anything further to do with it.
Hayley has said that they'll do another song if it comes to them, but they don't want to force writing for the films. However she's also said the Twilight stuff for her is getting realy old by now, so I don't think after all the Paramore=Twilight stuff the band will want to go through that again.
I read in a magizine for why they weren't on the new moon soundtrack and they said they didn't want people to think they were obsessed with vampires. I think that is why they aren't in eclipse
I mean, to be honest, I'm not exactly a fan of Twilight, but I'm interested to see what happens next in the series and subsequently that would be made a whole lot easier if I knew Paramore was in it.
However, I'm leaning towards the "Here's hoping Paramore makes a song for Breaking Dawn" side. Because honestly, I know that there's the whole Paramore=Twilight thingy going on, but think of how many new fans that got the band. I mean, as I've said before, I'm no Twi-hard, but it's because of Decode I properly found out about the band (and don't be hatin' on Decode, 'tis an awesome song :D), and I wouldn't be surprised if there's plenty of fullas like me out there who have pretty much just discovered Paramore through Twilight and aren't going all insane about mashing the two up (given the evidence from this thread and other numerous Paramore=Twilight threads).
That said, one has to remember that, like possibly appearing on Glee or American Idol, it's the band's decision to do so or not to do so. One has to respect their wishes, fullas. And right now, I reckon they haven't done anything too drastic :D
The only other band that have made the three times is Muse. Matt is like completely dedicated to the series and Steph, and then like yeah Thom Yorkes been involved twice but what makes it so that paramore should be involved in all the soundtracks? Don't get me wrong I'd love it but I don't see why people expect them to be on the soundtracks for the past two times, is it that they were like the main song on twilight? Death cab were for new moon but they aren't on eclipse?
so um yeah!
I think because they turned down music for New Moon and Muse still did a song for them in the second installment, Paramore lost there chance and now Indie music is filling up the soundtrack list. Don't get me wrong I love the soundtrack but I felt for book three there would be a little more edge in the music department- perhaps they should of had more indie in New Moon because it set the tone and less in Eclipse. I hope that Paramore will have a song in the either Breaking Dawn, most likely the first half.
(And as for the comment 'maybe they didn't want to', well thats untrue. Paramore turned down the second film because they felt their music wasn't right since it was kind of all about Jacob and Bella, and the amount of money the films are bringing in would only pull Paramore to want to do songs- in the end bands fade and you need to be connected to something to keep the fame going/ even though Paramore is awsome).

Maybe they didn't want to. I love twilight but I do think that people are constantly relating them as the twilight band or vampire band which they are an awesome band in their own right :)
They didn't want to.
I don't care anyway, i loved the books, read them about 2 years before there was a movie. The movie ruined it, and now it's twishite.
Plus, i've seen the trailer, it's looks terrible.
They said they weren't going to force anything out for a movie.
i am happy that they are not!!
They can move on from the whole twilight thing.
So then hopefully people can stop relating them to twilight!
They are standing on their own they don't need to be on a movie soundtrack- thats not the sorta band they want to be. :)
They are too busy wit this tour. Why would they want to waste their time on another sound track when they are doing fine on there own right now.
sigh, the responses on this topic are all full of shit.
Real answer: Hayley couldn't come up with anything.
Didn't they say that they don't want to be known as the ban who write songs for that saga? Or something.
Tbh, I think it's because the amount of shit they got for writing ONE song for Decode. Pfft.
Because, they did not want to be a part of that overrated franchise.
Im glad they arent, quite honestly.
yea i know they totally made the albums worth buying if it werent for them i wouldnt hav bought the albums

I reckon @SaraM has a very good point.

I'm pretty sure they turned it down because they didn't want to be constantly associated with Twilight .. I think.

They learned their lesson after realising what the first show did to their fanbase with many making out "Paramore = Twilight"
i think they don't have time...
Cause they been touring since September and didn't have time, plus none of them want to do another twilight soundtrack.
They didn't want to.
