its funny how people are like "josh needs to grow some balls" even though they wern't in his situation, easy to judge but none of us know what it was like. Josh never said it was shit all the way through he just gave his reasons for leaving the band. He's not exactly going to recount all the happy times in that is he? But no your right he's a coward for finally getting something off of his chest that he's needed to for ages.
This is who I respect after all this mess (in no particular order):
Taylor
Josh
Hayley
Jeremy
Zac

If you read Josh's statement. None of what josh said really did add up, And most things that he said in his statement. About brand new eyes not bring the band closer together, Are false even he said that band new eyes helped the band out in all the problems they had. And most thing about Taylor and Jeremy leaving cause Hayley was kicking them out or whatever are wrong as well. Taylor left because he needed to finish school. Not because Hayley Kicked him out. I just think that josh needed to grow a pair.
I don't get why josh (and Zac?....) were bashing Hayley so much (notice they didn't really say a lot about Jeremy or Taylor, than turn around and say, not meaning to sound bad against the band or Hayley.) (Also, they always singled out Hayley it seemed in the statement.) And plus, if it was so bad to begin with, why would josh go out with Hayley??? Makes no sense.
i have MORE respect for the farros and LESS respect for hayley :l

I haven't lost any respect for them, it annoys me when people are like 'it was so unproffessional'. How do you know? Were you in their shoes? No. No one knows what happened behind closed doors. No they weren't miserable all the time that's true enough, but I think it takes courage to say what they said, not lack of. Even if they went about it wrong, people are the best they can be at that time, so get over it.
I agree with Paramuse.. I have lost respect for The Farros (more Josh really). Paramore 100% supporting! No respect lost for Hayley from me!
Since this happened, im sorry to say that my respect for Hayley has gone slightly down. Why would you sign yourself to the label without the rest of your band- the band is paramore, not hayley williams. If thatd been me she'd done tht to- id've exploded!!!!! Sorry but you gotta see tht from their veiw.
@you_shine_brighter I agree with you. It is hard to hear people you admire being slated none of us know the band personally and even after this blog there will still be things that have gone on that we will never fully understand because we weren't there. I still love all of paramore and I love the farro brothers and I wish all of them the very best for the future
Hayley is more believable because in her songs there are sublimanal messages telling us that satan is awesome and that we should believe everything she says.

I believe the Farro's. I mean I think the reason why ppl are beleiving Hayley more is because- be honest with yourselves- we all could relate to her more. Think about it, Hayley has always posted more, she's wrote about her feelings and the changes in her life. She's put herself out there for everyone to see. Yes, we love the Farro's but we never got that from them. In some ways it's like we know Hayley personally, and when someone tells you something about the person you love, are friends with, or whom you look up to you don't wanna believe it. Hayley's not perfect and I honestly don't think the bros would go through all this trouble to make stuff like this up. I was devastated, i've been a fan since day one and this whole persona has been shattered in a matter of minutes, but put yourself in their shoes. If you were being screwed all this time you would be angry, you would have something to say, and the bros have that right, you will always get walked on if you don't stand up for yourself. Fans asked for the real reason, and maybe the problem is that we weren't ready for what we heard. Look at how paramore has changed over the years and compare it to what Josh said, sad to say it fits.

not only that, but they sit there and bash Hayley the whole time, then say something like, "We don't mean to say bad things about the band or Hayley." i would've believed them a lot more if their statement hadn't had so many contradictions in it.
i've read both of their statements... nobody thinks anybody in this situation is perfect. the website's statement is very simple and straight to the point, and doesn't bash anyone or point fingers at anyone. the Farro brothers' statement, however (which was basically written by Josh but they claim it's from both of them), was very immature. most of it was probably true, yes, but it's their point of view of what happened, and they way they went about expressing it was extremely whiny, in my opinion, and contradictory. first they talk about Hayley conspiring with the record label against them, and the spotlight being on her all the time, but that's EVERY BAND. that's reality. the spotlight is 99.9% of the time on the lead singer, and it's not necessarily their fault, and they obviously couldn't come to terms with that. and then, at the end, they turn it into some giant religious argument, like she was "unChristian" for taking a bible verse and changing it around. uh, hello, that's a very common lyricist tool used in plenty of songs (for example: Green Day's 21st Century Breakdown, "I once was lost, but never was found," giving a twist to Amazing Grace). it's not exactly against Christianity at all, it's just changing a common phrase around. i believe a lot of what they said, but i believe they went about it the wrong way and acted very immature about it.

It is simply the truth. YOU GUYS wanted an explanation of why we were leaving so there it is. Im not going to talk about all of the FUN times I had while stating the reason I left the band. Does that make sense? Its nothing personal. Sorry that you feel awful.

That's not it at all.
People have lost respect because it was such an unprofessional thing to do. Instead of issuing a statement about why they are leaving and making peace with the Paramore fans, Josh made a blog post basically bashing Hayley.
Hayley isn't perfect and neither are they, but at least Hayley didn't make a blog post pointing the finger at Josh and Zac.
Mostly, I have lost respect for them because they were so pathetic in the blog. All that "miserable for the whole time" shit, and the "Hayley controlling us" just shows how immature they are, and it mostley shows that they need to grow some balls.
