    Remember their first amazing album All We Know is Falling?

    "My Heart" had some good backup vocals.

    Any thoughts on the screamo coming back to performances? Or certain songs?

annis is definitely right but i do like my heart and i would like to hear them play their original my heart rather than the final riot my heart

@annis: They(Nightwish) have played in: France, Belgium, Netherlands, Croatia, Hungary, USA, Russia etc this year:)

I would like to see Paramore with more scremo. However, it would have to be right for the song, like it was with My Heart.

I don't think Paramore would suit screamo. Hayley's got such a beautiful voice and it just wouldn't suit her. It's alright when Josh does it in the background, but I don't think it would appeal to everyone. Leave the heavy stuff to the pros.

Just because they have a few lyrics which are screaming does not make them screamo.

They shouldn't even go there.

@Pyromancer

Paramore are no where near metal. Also Nightwish is less mainstream than Paramore; since when was the last time you saw Nightwish playing in an arena outside of Northern Europe? Even in the UK they only do small venues such as academies. Metallica are completely different; they are the epitome of mainstream metal.

How someone can say that a symphonic metal band has screamo in it is beyond me. You guys realise that screamo is a genre, like symphonic metal, right? So you can't have both. Jeez....

@Pyromancer: Okay:b I just always have to defend them xD

@Little Decoy: I know that. My point on why I claimed NW as a screamo band is that they did a good job on the screamo part.

I liked it on My Heart. And I think that it really fit with that songs. The raw emotion behind the lyrics...it was perfect. But I don't think I want anymore of it. It makes My Heart that much more special.
On a side note, I was listening to bne and Riot! in the car the other day and my mom asked me if Paramore were screamo XD I think she said it during Where the Lines Overlap lol

I love the screamo in My Heart, but ït's okay that they don't do it anymore.
@Pyromancer: Nightwish isn't a particularly screamo-band, they have some screamo, but it's in very few songs! :)
It's symphonic-metal \m/

Of course not. The thought of Paramore as a screamo band spells bad moive in every way. What are they, Nightwish? They're awesome as pop punk. I wouldn't like them to be the next metal mainstream. They're never gonna be Nightwish or Metallica.
