well, my comment on this, maybe this is just a way of showing the band's love for paramore. After all, Paramore is a very awesome band. It's the best band and it is my favorite, after all.
i mean, yeah, it is similar but I don't think it is a big issue.
I mean, when you wear a really cool dress at school then the student body wears the same thing, would you get offended?
If I am to answer that question, I won't be. on the contrary, I would be flattered.
I know not everyone here agrees with me but I think this is not that big of a problem.

Hello, my name is Matt Turner and I sing in the band Paranoia Dance Party!. We've all been following this thread for a few days now, and have gotten a lot of laughs out of it. I just felt it'd be a good time to write a post of my own. This isn't in our defense, as I don't feel there is any need to defend anything. I just wanted to point a few things out:
1) If you noticed that the cover is a direct copy of Paramore's album "Riot!," then you are correct. As a matter of fact, it's blatantly obvious. If you didn't see the connection, then there is something wrong. It's parody, or satire. When Will Ferrell does an impersonation of George W. Bush, you're not supposed to believe GWB is the one up there.
2) Some of the guys in our band like Paramore, and some probably couldn't care less. We just thought it was mildly ammusing. I personally think they're a solid band, but are not one of my favorites.
Well, I can't think of anything else to say at the moment. Take this for what you will, as we don't really care. I'll leave you with something I posted somewhere else about the subject:
On the album "Riot!" by Paramore, the song "Born For This" (track 11) includes the pre-chorus "We want the airwaves back, we want..." This bit of lyrics and music was taken almost verbatim from the song "Liberation Frequency" on the album "The Shape of Punk to Come" by Swedish hardcore band Refused.
Now, it's obvious that this is a nod from Paramore to a band that they respect and have been influenced by in some way. Should? Dennis Lyxzen sue Paramore?

They can't, they are not able to copy Paramore
We've already had Demi Lovato kind of copying Paramore with her album Don't Forget... We didn't mind it because It wasn't like what this looks like! This looks like the exact same! It could be a tribute but NEVER COPY PARAMORE! Paramore are amazing and I wouldnt dream of copying!

They arent trying to sound like Paramore. The Drummer is just a HUGE paramore fan...and no the thje Para part of Paranoia has nothing to do with Paramore...(at least not that I know of)

The song doesn't sound like Paramore's music. The only similarities I can see are the album artwork (Riot!) and the name starts with 'Para' but hey...it doesn't really matter that much does it? :)
