Rachel and Sandy are our 2 lovely moderators and they have to put their lives on hold every so often (every fucking day) to clean up your bullshit.
You guys were sat there watching the Paramore stream, right? Wasn't it just AMAZING?! Didn't you just LOVE every second of it? If someone interuppted it would you have removed their legs?

Yeah, I've spoken about this all before. Yeah, in essence this is a repeat. I WILL delete this and I swear down if any of you give me and shit about it I'll post your name in this topic and we'll see what everyone else has to say about your opinion.
I care about people. I do, if they need help i give it. Rach and Sandy need help. They're 2 moderators trying to help 200,000+ people. Does that seem like a task that will be easy? That will be simple? No. It isn't. Can you even contemplate 200,000 people? I doubt that severely. So please, give the repeat topic bullshit a break and give them a break. They've both just started school and they're still sorting this place out even with their homework and all the rest of it.
DO THEM A FAVOUR.

If someone tells you it's a repeat topic then delete it. DON'T argue it. If it's me commenting then I can 98% guarentee you that it WILL be deleted later on by Sandy or Rach, so do yourself a favour and save the humilation.

Thanks to @Rachel and @Sandy for all they do. We can make life easier on them by deleting our repeats and even by deleting the spam that spammers put on our profiles -- it's just that much less for them to do.
I don't really even know what to say at the moment. Moderating is hard and sometimes it's stressful but it's my job. I probably shouldn't be agreeing with a post that's calling everyone self absorbed idiots but I do, and thanks to everyone for the kind words and all because I'm def not a robot, but at the end of the day there will always be people like this on the site and it's just my job to take care of it. And I would like to think that the site isn't the same as it was 6 months ago and has improved a bit because of the moderating work I do, that would be pretty spiffy.

If somebody points out a repeat topic, just delete it and put your thoughts on the original. I have created unintentional repeats myself in the past and been happy to delete them when someone pointed it out.
I have only had the opportunity to talk to Sandy. And she has been nothing but nice to me every time.
I'm not going to say I didn't wrote repeat topics in the past. That was before Sandy! I now look up if the topic already exists.

Rach, people don't know how ridiculously difficult it is for you to moderate the site. I don't mind if you can't get round to deleting it all as soon as it comes up, I don't. I just hate that people ignore requests or make pathetic sarcastic jokes about me being "thread police" and all that bullshit when it's gonna happen anyway.
The webcrew should do something so you HAVE to read the FAQ before you make a topic. Or at least remind them when pressing "create a discussion" or something but as per usual they just ignore because it's nothing to do with them.

Matt, I appreciate the gesture but you've made topics like this before and this isn't going to do anything the others haven't. People aren't going to stop making repeat topics, I'm going to delete the same old topics. It's what I do. And I'm truly sorry if the repeat topics bother you while I'm at school :(
