why is everyone talking about the lyrics? he specifically said "great band with intense lyrics" hes talking about the music... which has changed a LOT

depends on how you think of how its changed over the years. to me, its getting more deep and meaningful, and obviously is about what theyve gone through to be where they are now. bne is the most honest album so far, IN MY OPINION. theyre getting older, so more of their lyrics wont be like riot! and awkif.

i think its going somewhere in the middle :)

BNE had great lyrics! theres tons and millions of new words to use in there next elbum :D

NO i think BNE had GREAT lyrics... i like the music to RIOT! better but i like the words to BNE MUCH BETTER

well they've changed a lot. in all 3 albums.
plus BNE was their most personal album.
so if you don't like nice personal slow songs, then stick with Riot!

Maybe its because they are going through different things now. Hayley wrote about how she was feeling when the band wasnt good, it doesnt really mean that the writing is going downhill. I personally love the new lyrics as much as the old, they have so much emotion in them. It might just be that you dont really like the things that she is writing about, some songs are more powerful and sound more special than others. But i seriously dont think they are going downhill :)

every single song has a meaning to it, and about how they nearly split up and stuff so tbh i think they have definatly gone uphill not down!

Wel if you look back at AWKIF lyrics and riot! It seemed lyk they put mpre effort into them.. It kinda feels like in BNE they didnt want it as much...because it says in the RIOT! Thank you's that they were chasing a dream or sonthing..nd it seems lyk they've reached it and they just dnt care anymore..I prefer their old stuff.

So far, i have heard people and friends saying Most of Paramore's music are about the same. I kinda agree with them. There isnt a song that really "AWESOME!" But my favourite songs are Turn it off and ignorance.

I think you''re right and wrong at the same time... I think style wise theyve matured a lot... in some ways thats awersome.. but in others thats absolutely shit.. I thought the choruses were kinda crap for some song in BNE!!.. like theyd have an awesome pre- Chorus.. and the chorus would kinda wreck it... like feeling sorry...

what?are you kidding me? paramore's writing is AMAZING. if you try looking at the lyrics, you will notice how good they are.

Wtf are you talking about?! The song careful, brick by boring brick, where the lines over lap.... those songs are new and have kick-ass lyrics.... burry the castle or burry you?
Sorry, I'm coming across slightly ruder than normal but I completly and utterly disagree!

I don't think that there is any problem with it. in BNE i felt like at the beginning was when things weren't settled within the band and it progressively got a bit happier with each song. The album told a story to me sorta. but none of their albums have really been the same as the one before and to me thats good because I get bored with the same music really easily

I feel like Hayley was sad during the writing of BNE, so that is why these lyrics are very sad and at times angry. Watch the BNE documentary on youttube and they reveal it.
