Paramore Discussions

Fair enough, Personally I think Paramore are the best and I love them more than any other band around. :) I love metallica and Pink floyd to though :)

Each to their own right? I admit all your bands are classics and I actually find myself knowing a lot more of their music, and liking it, than I'd expect, but it's still not the stuff I listen to everyday and actually choose to buy and want to listen to.

Asides from the fact those bands have had years on more recent bands like Paramore, and have had more people grow up on their music, everyone is entitled to an opinion. Some people may hate the music you like, others may love The Beatles, it's just an opinion.

Obviously being on here I do love Paramore and they are one of, if not my favourite, band, because I like their music and what they sing. Other bands I like for the same reasons, I like what they sing, all the music, the lyrics, and it all appeals to me. Lots of people wouldn't like what I like, as long as I like it and can buy it to listen to it for me then I couldn't care less.

So like I said, each to their own opinion. You are entitled, I am entitled, but some people on here may take offense at you insulting the music they love, especially as it is a Paramore site. Again, I couldn't care less what people do or don't say about the music I like, but some people get personally insulted by such comments.

I don't like these bands that you mentioned. I know that they gave their contribuition in music world and all, but I don't like 'em.
It's all a matter of opinion, anyway. People say that Paramore is the best band in the world because they relate to their music more than they relate to other bands' musics, you know? For THEM, it's the best band in the world. But for you and lots of others it's not. Because you can relate to other bands better. You knwo what I mean?

they are all pretty good bands I agree and Violet they are not garage there pretty awesome!! but atm Paramore is my fave band and would be in my top 10 bands of all time probably number 1 b.c they actually write about meaningful stuff.

Your title says: "I like Paramore just like you guys but..."
Correction: We (or at least I) L O V E Paramore. So, yeah...just felt like pointing that out :)

And now for the list thing.
That's your personal opinion. Personally, I would have Paramore somewhere up there. But since that list is your opinion; there ain't much I can do about it. :3

I agree.

All those names are bands that have been around awhile and sure, they are successful and not bad at all. My dad is a big fan of several of them. But times are different-we are in a different generation now and Paramore fits in this generation for some.

Really, though, it is more opinion that fact on who the best bands are. To me, I don't really love any of those 10 bands you mentioned. I have heard them all, grew up listening to their music (I mean who in our generation HAVEN'T) and liked some of their songs, but Paramore is so different than them and I connected with THEM, not AC/DC or Metallica.

Well I believe the Beatles are the number one band ever. Like regardless on what I think about them, I think they are still set at the best. They inspired so many bands today and there music is still being played even 50 years later.
