oh, and you don't have to be in the mosh pit to be close, if i don't go in the mosh pit at concerts, i can still get real close, try getting barrier?

yeah you just have to make sure there's not many tall people in front of you and if it's mixed of different heights then you can see in between people throughout the show :]

people are crazy in mosh pits and the front is always the worst BUT it shouldn't matter if you love the band so much x) i went to see silverchair at the great escape and luckily i was short enough to miss a huge hit and brawl from these dickheads around me :) if guys(usually it's guys) go around tough and hit ppl to get to the front, just kick their balls and shove through ppl to get further away x)

im sixteen and 5ft 1 and my first mosh was the getaway plan about 3 yrs ago and all i can say is that it was rough. like guys with studded belts and i came out with a fair few bruises. so i can only pressume that soundwave would be something like that. but with a bigger capacity to fight off.

even though paramore are safe i dont think we can expect that the crowd will be.. people do get pretty crazy if its like the first time theyre seeing paramore like when i saw them at billboard a few years ago.

i wish there wasnt any moshing...id love to go to a concert,get close,and not get beaten up.

i'm moshing for one of their sidlined shows so i don't know bout soundwave, i'm a first time mosher too, but paramore is pretty safe, you should be fine

PS...I am not saying misguided ghosts is shit...I just used shit in the context of the tone of my reply...So yeah, no soft shit for this festival, unless they want people to leave, bottle them or fall asleep!

Yeah...Looking at vids...Paramore's moshie songs tend to be Miz Biz (deffo! can't wait!!), My Heart, Stop This Song, Crushx3, Pressure, Emergency etc...and because of the theme of the festival, heavy rock, they won't be playing soft shit like misguided ghosts! They will keep it rocking for sure!

If it gets too rough there are usually big guys to help get you out. Im pretty short 5'2 so i get knocked down in mosh pits all the time but theres always been some random dude there to pull me back up so i dont get stepped on or something lol

Paramore have a few 'mosh' songs, but people will be excited.

My friend got severely hurt at the Motion City Soundtrack show in 2007, and they are not a heavy band by far.

Just be careful. If you are worried dont go up the front.

OK...Well, myself having been not the average 15 year old height, found t great to hold my own in the mosh at Evanescence. If you are little, fragile, or incredibly thin...don't go in there! Your safest options are the barrier, the wins or the back...
That is what I tend to go by.
I am 19 and like 5"11' so I can with stand dickwads smacking into me.
If you have never been in a mosh before, it does get very claustrophobic...You do tend to freak a little but you just have to remember your a pretty safe and if you want out, just get people to lift you out. Security guards won't deny lifting you out once you get to the barrier and people won't not carry you out. They want to pass you on as quickly as possible so you aren't in their way.
I mean, for a first timer, Paramore might be a good way to go.
Don't mosh in something like ADTR or ETF or even JEW...You may die lol (jks)! I don't even think I will be moshing for those guys!!
