August 16, 2006--Paramore, Cute is What We Aim For and This Providence show at Tremont Music Hall in Charlotte, NC. I was 15. I went with my best friend and my mom and it was the best day in my whole entire life. Not only was it was my first time seeing Paramore live and they've been my favorite band since before pressure so it was exciting but, it was the last show I went to with my mom. They are so amazing live, they're stage presence is so awesome. I screamed so much that I lost my voice. I've never been the same since. They're STILL my favorite band. I respect them so much as artists. I don't have to own everything they make and see them live every time they come into town and have ringtones and shirts and teddy bears with their face on it and i don't have to know everything about them to prove they are my favorite band. Their music inspires me and I lose myself when I listen to it. I'm not another teeny bopper, I'm almost 19 years old and Paramore has played a huge part in my life. I'm legit. I'm real. They're real people and I wouldn't be the same person today if they hadn't ever existed.
